Can you actually rent a hot tub? 

Heck yes you can!  

Great Escape Spas aren't your old-school hard-plastic boxes that require a crane to get in place and they definitely aren't inflatables that are just begging to get punctured. We provide our clients with Softub Resort 300 model tubs. In case you haven't compared all the makes and models out there, here's why that matters: 

Simple: Most people spend 8-12k before they dip a toe in the water - laying a concrete slab, running electricity and water lines and getting the tub in place. With Great Escape Spas, you select the date and we'll take care of everything else for you!

•  Strength and Support: Softubs are made with a high-density Polybond foam that was originally designed space capsules; that means these are literally build for strength and insulation. 

• Hydrotherapy Jets: If you see the word "bubble jet" on that inflatable tub at Costco you're considering, you need to stop. "Bubbles" means "air" which cools down your tub! Great Escape Spas have actual hydro-jets that massage the stress away without cooling the tub. 

• Clean: Your Great Escape Spa arrives at your house clean and empty and gets filled on site from the garden hose. We'll balance the chemicals for you and make sure that they stay balanced for however long you have it.

Everything you need to know about renting a hot tub.

  • 1. Choose your dates - select your drop off and pick up date. 

    2. Choose your Escape - you can rent the tub by itself or we can totally transform your yard with a tub, surround seating, lighted umbrella, the works! 

    3. We deliver and set up everything, filling the tub, balancing the chemicals and walking you through everything you'll need to know to kick back and relax. 

  • There's a few factors that impact how quickly your tub reaches max temperature.

    1. Water Temp - the warmer the water that we can fill with, the faster the process goes. 

    2. Weather - if your tub is in full sun all day, you can expect to get as high as 3-4 degrees per hour.

    Ultimately, your tub will heat up at anywhere from 1-4 degrees per hour, which means you can expect it to be ready within 1-2 days. 

    We'll include a thermal blanket to help speed up the process and show you how to get the fastest results based on your setup. 

  • Your neighbor with that monstrous swim spa had to call an electrician to run a 220v line out to their backyard. They probably had to get permits for it too...

    You? You just need to plug into a standard 120V/15A three prong grounded outlet. Just make sure that it's within 30 feet of your setup location and doesn't have anything else plugged into it. 

  • It depends on the Escape you build. 

    The Great Escape - Your tub by itself needs 6/6.5 feet of space.

    The Usual Suspects - Any Escape that includes the surround seating will need upwards of 8 feet of space, ideally around 10 to accommodate the umbrella stand. 

    If you're not 100% sure, reach out and ask! 

  • Not all decks and patios are created equal and we strive for safety first. Your tub holds 300 gallons of water and weighs about 3000 lbs. when full. Add 4-6 people and you've got a substantial amount of weight on your deck in a single place which can be unsustainable. 

    The safest place to put your tub is on a slab. If you have any questions, just give us a call and we can come out, survey your backyard and help you place accordingly. 

  • We'll balance the chemicals as we set up your tub and provide you with pre-measured chemicals. 

    No complicated chemistry or degrees required!
